One Mic started out as a way to have something to pass down to my son, I wanted him to feel like his dad created this. I also felt that there was a lack of history podcast that told the story of African Americans by African Americans. Each episode centers around little known events or persons from Black history selected for their affect on African Americans and American Culture.
